These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Reality Surfer (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your access to and use of the Reality Surfer website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Reality Surfer is a self-development, educational, and inspirational wellness tool. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, financial, legal, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The content, coaching prompts, meditations, journaling tools, and community discussions offered through the Service are provided for general informational and personal-growth purposes only, and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Always seek the guidance of your physician, mental-health professional, or other qualified provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or psychological condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced through the Service. If you think you may have a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. You use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for decisions you make based on it.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account and use the Service. Where required by law, minors may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your country or any applicable app-store rules.
Reality Surfer offers consciousness and personal-development features that may include an audiobook library, guided meditations, an AI coaching companion, goal-setting and journaling tools, a community forum, and curated articles and news. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time to improve the Service or for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Some features require an account. To reduce fraudulent and duplicate accounts, we verify your email address before an account is created. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account.
Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate coaching responses, meditation scripts, reflections, and other content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and does not represent professional advice or the views of Reality Surfer.
You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated content before relying on it. Do not submit sensitive personal, health, or financial information to AI features that you would not want processed by third-party AI providers.
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
We may remove content or suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
You retain ownership of the content you create or submit (for example forum posts, journal entries, and goals). By submitting content that is visible to others, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You are solely responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it. We may, but are not obligated to, moderate community content and may remove anything that violates these Terms.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Reality Surfer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial personal use.
Third-party philosophies and works referenced for educational and inspirational purposes (including Transurfing Reality, The Law of One, and Conversations With God) remain the property of their respective authors and rights holders. We claim no affiliation with or endorsement by them.
If the Service offers paid features or subscriptions, the price, billing period, and renewal terms will be shown to you before purchase. Where you buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment, billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms, and you should manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
If you obtained our application from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following additional terms apply. To the extent these Terms conflict with the applicable store’s terms, the store’s terms will govern with respect to your use obtained through that store.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any outcome or benefit will be achieved. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reality Surfer and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or wellbeing, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reality Surfer from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to submit to the competent courts of Thailand for the resolution of disputes, except that mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected. Where required, disputes may be resolved through your local courts.
We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in every location. If you access the Service from outside the operator’s country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
